Founded in November 2015, Global Protection Industries operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to the production of a diverse array of Steel Wire Mesh Gabions.
Under the leadership of Mr. Neeraj Sahay, the Managing Director, the company is committed to providing world-class Wire and Geosynthetic products and services. Our mission is to empower owners, consultants, and contractors to design and implement dependable, cost-effective, and easily constructible solutions tailored to a wide range of geotechnical, infrastructure, hydraulic, and environmental challenges.
Our flagship manufacturing facility is strategically located in Pune, approximately 150 km from Mumbai, and benefits from exceptional connectivity via road, rail, and maritime networks.
In addition to our main facility, subsequently, we have introduced two supplementary manufacturing units: one in Gujarat (near Ankleshwar) and another in Guwahati, Assam. This strategic expansion enhances Global Protection Industries’ capability to meet customer demands effectively and ensures timely product delivery.
Our Gabions and DT Mesh products are certified to BIS 16014 standards, and we maintain a fully equipped in-house testing laboratory dedicated to the evaluation of Gabion wire and mesh. With an impressive production capacity exceeding 14,400 MT per year, we are poised to meet the needs of our esteemed customers.
We take pride in our comprehensive solution offerings that span the entire project lifecycle, from conception to installation. Our expertise and resources allow us to design Gabion projects and manage installation activities with efficiency and effectiveness.
Our products, which include Gabions, DT Mesh, and Rockfall Netting, are distributed throughout India and exported for various civil, hydraulic, and landscaping applications. These applications encompass Gabion Retaining Walls, slope protection, road embankments, mine overburden management, channel training, check dams, weirs, causeways, and bridge pier protection, among others.
Throughout India, our Gabions have been supplied to numerous small, medium, and large contractors associated with Irrigation Departments, Public Works Departments (PWDs), Roads and Buildings (R&B) Departments, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Municipal Corporations, and mining companies across all states. Noteworthy protection projects utilizing our Gabions include key rivers such as the Ganga, Kosi, Tapi, Sabarmati, and Mahi.
Additionally, we export our Gabions to countries including Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Kenya, and Uganda. Our products have undergone independent testing conducted by accredited third-party laboratories, with assessments from esteemed organizations including the Government of Bhutan, Bangalore University, and CEIL, Navi Mumbai.
